The series is based on the cult novel of the same name by Milovan Vitezovic and talks about an incredible man, Professor Kosta Vujic. The story of an exceptional German language teacher and his class of graduates of the First Men's Gymnasium in Belgrade, attended by Mihailo Petrovic - Mika Alas, Jovan Cvijic, Pavle Popovic, Jasa Prodanovic and many other influential people who marked a complete era as ministers, academics, politicians, professors... This great individual and hedonist was an excellent pedagogue, and his student Mihailo Petrovic - Alas once wrote that Vujic was the most original professor of the 19th century. The events of that time are authentically portrayed in this story, directed by the genius Zdravko Sotra.
