Zitoradja is positioned in the southeast of Serbia, in the Toplica district, at a distance of 10 km from Corridor 10, which connects Serbia with Macedonia, Greece and further with the Far East. The first historical data about Zitoradja as a populated place are from the 4th century, and then the old Byzantine town of Zitoradja kale is mentioned. The religious building Latin Church near Zitoradja originates from this period and has been preserved. This municipality is best known in modern times as the birthplace of Ceca Raznatovic and as the place where Ivica Dacic, who was born in Prizren, grew up.
