Vlasotince

Vlasotince is placed in the southeastern part of Serbia, at the confluence of the rivers Vlasina and Velika Morava, and on the slopes of Suva planina. Historically, the oldest traces of life are mentioned in the Neolithic era of the Late Stone Age. On historical maps from the 13th to the 15th century, Vlasotince has always been within the borders of the Serbian state. Under the name Vlasotinac, Vlasotince is first mentioned at the beginning of the 16th century in the first preserved census from 1516.
