Danny Mars is a fast-talking charmer who longs for something more, and upon crossing paths with middle-aged janitor Joe Schmolensky the ambitious Hollywood newcomer senses that something great is on the horizon. Joe is an obsessive movie buff with a knack for celebrity impressions, and though the humble maintenance man isn't too sure about his newfound friend the pair soon embark on a series of misadventures that will turn Tinsel Town upside down. Gree runs rampant and colorful characters are around every corner as Danny and Joe contend with power-hungry television executives, success-driven Hollywood agents, sleazy porn directors, fearsome Russian gangsters, and one truly determined debt collector.
