Two families, Hungarian native one, and Serbian immigrant one are experiencing the first days of freedom. The story takes place in Vojvodina, on the Yugoslav-Hungarian border, in the period between 1945 and 1948. This will make them change, become different, break many borders inside of themselves. Joys and sorrows, pride and humiliation, love, and death change during their lives.
