So Hot Was the Cannon

"So Hot Was the Cannon" is a true story of the cruel growing up and maturation of a 10-year-old boy in bombed Sarajevo in the early 1990s. A grenade from a hill kills his parents and he stops talking in shock. A neighbor accepts him and cherishes him as her own child. When a boy is kicked out of a devastating apartment by a local abuser, he starts wandering the streets with a school buddy, but this way he goes through the process of growing up too soon and too quickly. He enters the dark world of violence, sex, and death. He begins to learn how to make progress in life. The boy's guide into the world of adults too quickly introduces him to crime, alcohol, drugs, kidnapping, crime, rape and recklessness. The film has an impressive cast crew, led by Anita Mancic, Slavko Stimac, Nikola Djuricko, Mira Banjac, Bojan Maljevic, Ivica Vidovic, and Stanislav Ruchnov.
