Rača

Raca is located in the central part of Serbia and belongs to the Sumadija administrative district. This place was first mentioned as a Nahija area in the Turkish census from 1489 called Radca. Centuries later, as a memorial to the leader of the First Serbian Uprising, "Karadjordjev dom" was built in Raca in 1934, which was a refuge for orphans from all over the former Yugoslavia.
