Osečina

There is a story that Osecina was completely cut off from the world, so the legend says that it got its name from that. Whoever would go towards her, could only run into beasts and animals, through the dark forest. According to historical data, this area was inhabited in prehistoric times, and the evidence is traces of life and the remains of primitive settlements in several localities. The Banovina was ruled by Prince Lazar until his death in Kosovo. Two years after the Battle of Kosovo, the Turkish army appeared in this area for the first time.
