Nova Varoš

Nova Varos is located in the Zlatibor district, in the southwestern part of Serbia. Above it is the mountain Zlatar, and in the middle is the main road Belgrade - Bar, at an altitude of up to 1000 m. Archaeological traces in this territory indicate the existence of the settlement as early 3000 BC. Nova Varos was liberated from the Turks on November 1, 1912. After World War II, it became the economic and cultural center of this region.
