Lauš ( Orig. Title ) Documentary 1 h 22 Min 2014
On July 31, 1993, Žarko Laušević and his brother Branimir were attacked near the Epl bar in Podgorica. Žarko killed two young men in self-defense with his gun. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for double murder and exceeding the necessary defense.
Lauš is a documentary-feature film, which confronts the true events and the phenomenon of Žarko Laušević's personality. The film is primarily about a fickle time, which we all went through, and it represents both sides. It was filmed with compassion and deep respect for all the actors of the tragic event, which happened in 1993. The weight of his destiny is presented through the played parts, narration, memories of his colleagues, closest friends, and quoting parts from his book "The year passes, the day never", which Žarko wrote during his worst stage of life. The goal of this film is to portray the life of an actor with a great career, who disappeared from the scene in the midst of his greatest success as a result of a proud time.
