Kingdom of Serbia

After Prince Mihailo was killed, the minor Milan comes the Serbian throne. His is recognized by the turbulent Serbo-Turkish wars, which will lead the country to full independence. Serbia then received the status of a kingdom, and Milan became our first king, after Kosovo. Then follows the reign of his son Alexander, which led to the assassination, in 1903, by which the Obrenovic dynasty disappeared from the political scene. Then Peter I comes to the Serbian throne. During his rule, Serbia developed impressively economically, won two Balkan wars and completely expelled the Turks from their country. This historical movie covers the period from the assassination of Prince Mihailo to the First World War, and the narrator is the fantastic Dragan Nikolic. He also filmed scenes in Kumanovo, Sarajevo, Nis, Belgrade, Novi Sad and Vienna, while acting sequences were recorded in Smederevo, Belgrade and Pancevo.
