Killer Mermaid

“The Nymph” is by many, the best produced Serbian horror ever. The story begins when two American women come to Montenegro to visit an old friend. After a few days, they decide to go to the abandoned military fortress Mamula, located on an abandoned island. On this trip, they realize that they are not alone, and the real horror begins when they see a local freak throwing parts of human bodies into a well.

The dark force that attacks deep below Mamula, an evil from antiquity, a mythical monster, is also a beautiful girl, kept for decades by a mysterious fisherman who will do anything to protect her secret. As they try to set her free, she captivates them with her beautiful song and appearance as she transforms into a bloodthirsty monster who won't let them leave the island alive. The mermaid attack forces our heroes to set their disagreements aside and try to survive. The mystique of the story is incredible, while the sharp sound and spooky music builds tension that is based on what you imagine, not what you really see. The real horror is just beginning!
