Jelena's world

At the beginning of the film, Jelena Janković is the 3rd best tennis player on the WTP list, while the film ends at the moment when Jelena becomes world number 1. This documentary follows the life of tennis player Jelena Janković through matches at tournaments in Madrid and Berlin until her return to her hometown of Belgrade, all in a period of 14 months. What is even more interestingly shown in the film are her training with Ricardo Sanchez, Justine Henin, and other tennis players from the world's top. You will see her various acquaintances with fans, sporting events for which she had the honor to open like the famous match Sevilla vs Real Madrid. The end of the film shows her mother Snežana, reading verses by Ljubivoje Ršumović, in which she describes Jelena's success: The homeland is defended with beauty and honor and knowledge.
