Albert's way

This is an incredibly inspiring story about the success and achievement of the famous "American dream". Descendants of Albert Mayer settled in Banat from Germany in the middle of the 18th century, immediately after the withdrawal of the Turks from those areas. They were engaged in agriculture and were wealthy peasants. The film follows the fate of the Mayer family and along the way shows complex socio-political phenomena during the Second World War and the time immediately after the creation of Tito's Yugoslavia.
